  • MeBRA show at the Litchfield Fair
    Saturday, September 6th, 2025  

    SHOW STARTS AT 3:00 PM

    REGISTRATION

    • Registration will be open from 1:30 to 2:30.
    • All entries and payments must be in the office by 2:30.
    • All riders must be checked in by 2:30 (even if you pre-enter and pay!)
    • Classes may be added up until two classes before the event and you will be added to the end of the draw.

    OTHER

    • Riders may carry times from divisional classes to open classes for barrels and poles. You must enter both the appropriate age divisional class and open class and indicate that you want to carry your time. 
    • Arena will be open for warm up (~1:00-2:30), grand entry at 2:45, and the show will start promptly at 3:00.
    • No exhibitions at the fair show.
    • No tank tops in the arena.
    • Full western dress required (collared, buttoned shirt - can be shortsleeved or sleeveless, long jeans, heeled boots, hat or helmet)

    Additional Event Notes:

    • Contestants may enter through the exhibitor’s gate and will not need to pay fair admission beyond their show entry fees.
    • Spectators must enter through the main gate and will be required to pay Litchfield Fair admission to access the grounds.
    • This is a fair show, and all participants must follow fairground rules:
    • No dogs allowed, except fully trained service dogs.
    • Horse trailers may not enter the grounds before 12:00 PM

  • Class List

    Age Divisions:

    • Pee-Wee riders are age 10 and under
    • Junior riders are age 18 & under as of January 1st, 2025 (helmets required)
    • Senior riders are age 19 & over as of January 1st, 2025
  • Carrying Times

    MeBRA runs 3D divisional classes before Open classes, and you can choose to carry the time from your run in 3D divisional barrels/poles class (18 & Under or 19 & Up) to Open Barrels or Open Poles.

    Riders must enter and pay for both the 3D divisional class and Open Class and indicate they are carrying times before the show starts.

  • To carry times, enter the 3D Divisional Class AND Open Class above and then check the box next to Carry Times that appears below.  

  • Rules and Terms:

    I have read the MeBRA bylaws and acknowledge that violation of rules and subsequent decisions made by MeBRA leadership could result in disqualification with no refund.

    Refunds:
    No refunds after the show started without extenuating circumstances (vet or medical) and will be made on case by case basis. If the show is cancelled or ended early due to weather or other cause, MeBRA will refund the remaining entry fees in a timely manner.

    Warning - Under Maine law, an equine professional has limited liability for an injury or death resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. I agree that if any damage or loss shall occur to any horse or property which I am entering in these shows, I will make no claims thereon. I further agree to indemnify "Show & Committee" against all claims, demands, suits & expenses arising out of an injury to any person or damage to any property caused by my horse, attendants or myself. I hereby enter the above horse at my own risk.

  • For Non-Members:

    I hereby acknowledge that this application is for a one-day membership with the Maine Barrel Racing Association. I thereby understand that I will not be awarded any points for the one-day membership. I also understand that I am expected to adhere to all MeBRA rules and regulations during this one-day membership.
