    Thank you for your interest in joining the Cigar Association of America, Inc. (CAA). We are pleased to welcome your company to our membership application process and appreciate your commitment to supporting the cigar industry.

    By completing this form, your company is formally applying for membership with the Cigar Association of America (CAA). Upon approval by the CAA Membership Committee, your company and its designated representatives agree to abide by the CAA Bylaws, support the principles outlined in the brief section on the CAA Membership Advantage, and uphold the decisions of the CAA Board of Directors.

    If you would like to review the CAA Bylaws before completing your application, or if you would like a copy of the current membership dues structure by category, please contact us. We will be happy to provide that information.

    • To determine the single most appropriate membership category for your company within the Cigar Association of America, Inc. (CAA), please review the descriptions of the seven membership categories listed below. Based on the nature of your company’s primary business activities, select the category that best fits your business.

      Please note: Only one category may be selected per application.   

      If you would like assistance in selecting the best category for your business, simply choose the last option listed below. We would be glad to assist you.

    • If the most suitable category for your company as a CAA member is something other than Manufacturer, please provide a description of your cigar business activities or how your company supports the cigar industry. This could include details about your role as a distributor, importer, online retail sales company, tobacco supplier, other supplier, or the specific ways in which you support the advancement and growth of the cigar industry.

    After completing your application and the Certification section on the final page, you're ready to submit.

    Once we receive your application, you'll get a confirmation email. We'll then follow up to schedule a brief meeting—an opportunity to review your application together, answer any questions, and explore how we can best partner to support the cigar industry.

    Our Review Process

    As part of our standard review, the CAA Membership Committee may, if necessary, request additional information about your company to complete its evaluation. These requests help ensure alignment with the values and standards that define CAA.

    All information provided will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for internal membership evaluation.

    Please note: Submission does not guarantee membership. All applications are subject to approval by the Membership Committee. Membership becomes active upon official approval and receipt of the applicable dues.

  • The undersigned Applicant does hereby:

    1. APPLY for membership in the CIGAR ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA,INC.

    2. PLEDGE and obligate himself / herself and the company:

    1. to faithfully observe and perform all the provisions of the Bylaws of the Association and all rules and regulations lawfully made and adopted from time-to-time by the Association or its Board of Directors, and
    2. to pay all dues and assessments that may be levied or imposed upon the Members in accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of said Bylaws; and

    3. CERTIFIES that the information set forth in this Application is accurate and true.

  •  Once your application has been submitted, here’s what you can expect:
    1. Acknowledgment Email
    You will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your application. This message will also include a summary of the next steps in the review process, so you know what to expect moving forward.

    2. New Membership Meeting with CAA
    A member of the CAA team will contact you to schedule a brief conversational meeting with you about your membership application. During this meeting, we will:

    • Review your application details,
    • Answer any questions you may have,
    • Discuss how your company aligns with CAA’s mission and goals,
    • And provide an overview of member benefits and engagement opportunities.

    3. Membership Committee Review
    Following the meeting, your application will be reviewed by the CAA Membership Committee. On an as-needed basis, the Committee may request additional company information to support the review process.                       

    4. Notification of Decision
    Once the Membership Committee has completed its review, you will be notified of the final decision. If approved, your membership becomes active upon receipt of dues payment.
