  • Volunteers Make MCC Cooks Happen!

MCC Cooks wouldn’t exist without our amazing volunteers. When you serve, you’ll be paired with two students at a cooking station—helping them learn new skills, follow recipes, and enjoy the fun of creating a meal from start to finish. It’s hands-on, relational, and a chance to make a real impact in a child’s life. Please fill out the form below to start the process of joining the MCC Cooks Volunteer Team.

  • FOOD ALLERGIES, ETHNIC OR RELIGIOUS DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

  • Your child’s safety is our top priority. Please let us know any and all allergies (even minor ones) as well as any ethnic or religious dietary restrictions. While we encourage kids to try new foods, sometimes even with fun “blind tastings”, we’ll always make sure your child isn’t given anything that could cause an issue.

You don't have to serve every week, just be part of the team! Below is important information to get started serving with MCC Cooks.
  • Below is a list of our upcoming sessions:

    • Fall 2025: Sept 16 – Oct 21
    • Winter 2026: Jan 13 – Feb 17

    Getting Started

Because we work with kids, all volunteers complete a simple safety process:

    • Background check (through a trusted 3rd party)
    • Three personal references
    • Safe Church application
    • Quick one-on-one with an MCC staff leader

These steps keep our kids—and our volunteers—safe while serving. Once you sign up, we’ll guide you through the process.
