About the Award
The Hidden Gem Award honors women across Louisiana who quietly make a lasting impact in their communities. These women may not always receive recognition, but their everyday actions uplift others, transform lives, and inspire positive change. They are the “hidden gems” who deserve to shine.

Presented by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and IAmSimplyBeautiful Global, this award will be celebrated during the LaRuE Women’s Empowerment Celebration on September 8, 2025, as part of the Louisiana Rural Economic Development Summit (LaRuE).

Eligibility
- Open to all women across Louisiana.
- Nominees must be individuals who show dedication to serving others, mentoring, leading, or uplifting their communities.
- All nominees must be available to attend the LaRuE Women’s Empowerment Celebration on September 8, 2025, to be recognized.

Nomination Criteria
We are seeking women who:

- Make a difference quietly without expecting recognition.
- Show compassion, resilience, leadership, or service in their communities.
- Inspire and uplift others through their actions.
- Represent the spirit of Louisiana women: strong, creative, and committed to positive change.

Award Recognition
- All nominated women will be recognized as Hidden Gems at the LaRuE Women’s Empowerment Celebration.
- Nominees will be highlighted during the program and featured on LaRuE and IAmSimplyBeautiful Global platforms.
- One Hidden Gem of the Year will be selected and honored with a special award on stage.

Nomination Process
- Nominations are open now at LaRue.LA/HiddenGem
- Deadline to nominate: August 27, 2025
- Nominations must include details about the nominee’s impact, a brief story, and confirmation of their attendance at the event.
- Optional: Upload a photo of the nominee to be included in recognition.
