Call for Arts-Based Programming for Artists and Creatives in Brampton Schools Program

Receive up to $1500.00 (artist fee & materials) for your project.

Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) is seeking workshops proposals from local artists, collectives, and arts organizations for arts-based programs in Brampton schools. If you are passionate about sharing your creative experience with the next generation of artists, now is your opportunity to put your project forward! 

The goal of BAO’s Artists and Creatives in Schools program is to reduce barriers to arts participation and skill development for Brampton students while providing Brampton artists and organizations with program delivery support and paid artist opportunities. 

Arts and culture program proposals in any topic will be considered though we will prioritize projects that: 

• Provide training and/or skill building that supports students on pathways to creative careers

Voluntary Self-Identification

This section is optional and is a way to help BAO determine whether our programs and services are reaching a diverse range of Bramptonians, and to support prioritization where applicable. 

In submitting this application I certify that: 

• I have read and agree to the regulations, terms and conditions outlined in the Program Guidelines.
• Individual Applicants: I have a residential address within the city of Brampton and have been located in Brampton for a minimum of 6 months prior to the date of application and I will provide evidence of organization status if accepted.  
• Organizational Applicants: My organization is located in Brampton and I will provide evidence of organization status if accepted.
• I am the artist named in the application and to the best of my knowledge the information provided herein is true.  
• I have full creative and financial control over the work for which I am requesting support.  
• If selected, I will provide proof of insurance and an up to date Vulnerable Sector Check.
• If selected, I am responsible for the full administration and facilitation of my workshops including but not limited to, communication and coordination with school administration, purchasing of materials, marketing, etc.
• If selected, I will submit a final report upon completion of the workshop/s.
• If selected, I will abide by the Brampton Arts Organization's Code of Conduct and Community Guidelines.
