Join the STARS AI Scholars Program 2025-2026!
The STARS AI Scholars program is run by STARS Computing Core with support from the INVITE and ENGAGE AI Institutes. The program provides college students in computing-related programs and K-12 teachers with opportunities to learn about AI, engage in projects for teaching K-12 students about AI, and develop their leadership skills. STARS AI Scholars will participate in projects that support local efforts designed to foster supportive communities, ignite action, and build sustainable pathways to a more representative tech workforce. As part of their fellowship, STARS AI Scholars are encouraged to engage with their local STARS Chapter or other organizations focused on AI education and workforce preparation. STARS AI Scholars who complete the program requirements will be eligible for a stipend of up to $1000 once their leadership/outreach project has been completed.
