Voting Instructions for Electing Church Officers, Elders, Board Members, and Committee Members
On the next page, you will see the list of nominees for elected church leadership positions. This list of nominees is presented by the 2025 ACAC Nominating Committee and includes a single person/name to fill each open church office. Therefore, all of these nominees are now before you, the congregation, for election to the church leadership positions noted.
Only those who have been officially received into church membership (and are at least 18 years old) are eligible to vote in congregational elections. When you cast your ballot, you must affirm in the space provided (below) that you meet these criteria and provide your name and signature solely for the purpose of confirming your eligibility to vote.
Ballots can be cast in one of four ways between the dates of September 21 and September 26, 2025:
1. Vote in person after worship services on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
2. Vote online using the digital ballot (this form) available on the church website, www.acac.net no later than Sept. 26, 2025.
3. Request a paper ballot by mail and return it to the church address postmarked no later than September 26, 2025 – ACAC, 250 East Ohio Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
4. Fill in a paper ballot in person at the Community Hub reception desk during business hours no later than September 26, 2025.
When casting your vote, you have the option to:
1. Vote to accept the entire slate of nominees presented by the Nominating Committee. Simply check the appropriate box to elect all the people listed to the offices indicated.
2. Or- Vote to accept (Yes) or reject (No) the people listed individually by checking the appropriate line for each individual. In addition, you can write in the names of others to serve in a particular office in place of one of the nominees listed. All write-in candidates must be official members of ACAC and at least 18 years of age. Also, please note that you are not permitted to write in the names of men to serve as Elders because of the special review process these candidates must go through in advance to help ensure they meet the biblical qualifications to serve.
