Please note your swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted to join this class. This is not a learn-to-swim class.

Equipment for this class

Bathing Suit suitable for fast activities in the water

Swim Cap or a way to keep hair out of the eyes: a bathing cap is preferred, but tying hair back securely can work

Goggles are recommended but not required

Nose Clips: one pair will be provided at the second class, and additional pairs may be purchased from the team or online

Liability Waiver

To begin classes a parent/guardian must sign a one-day liability waiver. After the first class the swimmer will be registered under the Hamden Heronettes liability policy with USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS).
The one-day liability waiver can be found at this link.

You may complete this form by any of these methods:

- fill out this form at the pool on the first class

- print, fill out and bring in the form to the first class

- fill out the digital version of the form and email it before the first class to HamdenHeronettes@gmail.com

Payment Options

Options are check, Zelle, cash, and PayPal. The Heronettes greatly appreciate if if you can pay with check or Zelle, as these options do not charge the club processing fees. If you need to discuss other options please email the club treasurer.
