A select number of $500.00 scholarships for afterschool programs will be awarded via a lottery system to qualified applicants who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be the child or legal financial dependent of a current Teamsters Local 856 member in good standing.
- The child must be currently attending primary or secondary school grades kindergarten through 12.
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an afterschool program for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Must complete an application no later than September 30, 2025.

Afterschool Activity Details
Please upload a short video (no more than one minute) of your child talking about their afterschool program. Please have your Teamster child say what the afterschool program is, why they like the program or are interested in the program, and what they hope to get out of it. (Please note: the video will only be used for internal application review purposes and will NOT be posted on social media or otherwise shared externally.)*
