The Hillvale Gallery Open Call invites proposals from photographic artists for our exhibition program to be held in 2026.

Hillvale Gallery is dedicated to supporting, elevating and exhibiting both emerging and established local artists working across all forms of photography. Built upon the same values as Hillvale Photo, our independent photo lab, the gallery serves as a platform for photographers to express and expand their practice.

We encourage all artists practicing photography to submit proposals for solo, collective or curated group shows.

Our call out will be assessed by a selection committee of local artists and curators.

Selected artists will receive direct support from Hillvale, including gallery space, artist fee, installation support and more. To date, Hillvale has supported and paid 49 artists to exhibit in 30 exhibitions over the past three years of programming.

There is no fee to apply. Due to the amount of proposals received we are not able to offer feedback.

All applicants will be notified by the end of November, 2025
