SEKMA Conference Scholarship form

Scholarship Purpose:

As the SEK Museum Alliance supports the goals and objectives of The Kansas Museums Association, we believe attendance at the annual KMA Conference helps to educate individuals and, in turn, enhance the museums in SEK.

Scholarship Amount:

The $250 scholarship may be used for any expenses related to the conference - registration, pre- conference workshops, lodging, meals, travel expenses, etc.

Application Deadline:

September 19, 2025 at 5:00 pm. The winner will be notified by October 3rd.

Application Information Eligibility:

- individuals whose museum is a current paid member of SEKMA AND
- individuals who have not attended a KMA Conference previously.

Scholarship requirements post-conference:
Scholarship recipient is required to provide a short report about their conference experience to share in the SEKMA newsletter and/or at the February 2026 SEKMA general meeting.
