Amplify Portland Grant Application 2024/25

In partnership with Travel Portland, the Portland Events and Film Office is excited to offer a grant opportunity created to amplify previously unheard stories of Portlanders. To further the mission of job growth in the Portland production community, the Amplify Portland: Local Filmmakers Production Grant aims to create opportunity for filmmakers utilizing local talent, crew and vendors during production. Our focus is on the professional development of the local industry as well as bringing exposure to Portland via its presence on screen.
Grant funds are intended for Portland-based independent film productions to support and offset the cost of the production process. The funding is designed to support the production phase of a local films including features, shorts, animations, documentary and narratives.

Three grants of $10,000 each will be awarded.

The intent of this funding is to:
1) create content that brings Portland an international spotlight;
2) build capacity of our local production institutions that grow the long-term career development of Portland talent and crew;
3) support productions that further the local film industry.
