  • GILPP Emerging Leaders in Governance Scholarship

    The purpose of this scholarship is to identify, support, and connect with exceptional young leaders from low-to-middle income nations who are pursuing higher education and are committed to a career in civil service.
  • Award

    The award consists of $2,000 USD to be used toward tuition and fees, and an all-expense-paid trip to Geneva Switzerland to attend the next GILPP flagship conference where they can network with world leaders and visit the UN Palais des Nations. One applicant will be selected per year. Disclaimer: GILPP will do our best to help the winner attend the conference but cannot guarantee that the Swiss government will grant a visa.
  • Eligibility

    All applicants must be 35 years of age or younger, from a low-to-middle income nation, and already be accepted to an accredited university or institute of higher education and be studying/plan to study law, public policy, public administration, political science, international relations, peace studies, or a cognate field. Current students may apply. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a Zoom interview.
  • Deadlines

    Applications will be accepted until December 1st each year. A winner will be announced on the following January 1st.
