  • While we want to make an impact, we also need to keep everyone safe. For this reason, we will be limiting the number of riders to 20. Therefore, it is possible that not everyone who registers as a mounted participant will be selected to ride.

We ask that you only register as a mounted participant if you are confident that your horse or pony will be safe in the busy environment of being in a group of 10 to 20 horses on the road with people on foot in Hi-viz holding signs around them and also walking the mainstreet through Greerton.

We expect that all riders and horse handlers are competent in managing their horse & maintaining a safe level of control at all times during the event. If the event organisers feel a rider does not have sufficient control of their horse, we reserve the right to put the horse on lead rein for the remainder of the event.

We will also need some people to be Poop Scoopers & 6 - 8 marshals to head out to selected stations around the route to prepare traffic for the group to come through.
