    I agree that I understand and will abide by the Code of Conduct (see below) as required by Ride United for the safe participation in this activity and to act responsibly and adhere to any directions given by the Ride United Team members. I herby maintain that I am fit and healthy enough to participate in this cycling activity. I also acept that Ride United cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, accident, loss dmage or public liablity during cycling sessions.

  • Ride United is a project ran by The Adpated Sports Hub and we will not disclose the infromation in this form to any other organisation unless there is a safeguarding concern. If yoy do not want any photographs or videos of the session used please notify the session leader.

  • Parent/Carer Consent

    Parent or carers must understand:

    • The depands of the cycling activity and that they alone can make the decsion about the riders ability to complete the activity.
    • The rider will cycle with ither adults or children of all ages and abilities.
    • Ride United may take photographs or videos during the track sessions. By participating riders consent to the use of their image in publications, social media and other publicity materials. If you have concerns about this please speak to the Session Leader.
  • Waiver for entering track area and Code of Conduct for cyclists, groups, parents/carers.

    Ride United is a volunteer run organisation and with your help we hope to provide fun experience for all. Ride United is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of its members. To do this, we ask you to read and follow the guidelines below. By attending this session, you are agreeing to these rules of attendance.

    1. Yourself, your child/client/service user/family member is your responsibility. Parents/carers must support their child/clients involvement in this session. Ride United cannot accept responsibility for the care of children or vulnerable adults at any time or be held responsible for their actions or consequences of. If you enter the track area, it is deemed you are taking part in a Ride United session and take responsibility for yourself and those with you and making your own assessment about capabilities and safety for riding and the assessment of riding in the weather conditions.
    2. Our volunteers are there to supervise the bikes and ensure the safety of all users, please take note of signage, and advice given by Ride United, it’s your responsibility to comply with these, not ours to enforce.
    3. You must ride on the athletics track only, do not ride anywhere on the grass either side of the track or take a bike outside of the athletics track area.
    4. Suitable clothing and footwear (closed toe shoes) must be worn, and we reserve the right to prevent a person riding, if we feel that are not appropriately dressed.
    5. Some bikes are specialist and adapted and should only be used following advice and signage, you must follow any instructions given for your own safety.
    6. All attendees must show respect for the volunteers running sessions and other attendees at all times. We reserve the right to discontinue a persons cycling session if they are disrespectful.
    7. Inappropriate behaviour is not acceptable and needs to be addressed by the parent/carer. Inappropriate behaviour includes riding bikes that are the wrong size or riding in the wrong direction or erratically, bad or abusive behaviour to other attendees or volunteers. If parents or carers do not act over the inappropriate behaviour, then volunteers may have to intervene. Continued inappropriate behaviour may lead a persons exclusion from the remainder of the session or subsequent sessions.
    8. Riders are recommended to wear a cycle helmet whilst riding. Ride United accepts no responsibility for injuries incurred because of riding without a helmet. There is a disclaimer form available for you to sign on the sign in desk should you decide to ride without a helmet.
    9. No photos or videos should be taken without consent of Ride United and therefore Ride United cannot be held responsible for any taken or used, without our prior consent.
