IFT's expanded Teacher Evaluator Administrator Academy program now offers ISBE-approved courses, allowing qualified teacher evaluators to retain their qualification credentials.
#AA1801 - Gathering Evidence During Observation and Conferencing Using the Danielson Method
Saturday, June 12, 2026; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Upon passing the state initial evaluator course, an individual becomes a qualified evaluator through the end of their next license cycle after the license cycle in which they completed the initial training. To retain the evaluator qualification, an individual must complete retraining before June 30th of the last year of their next license cycle. Retraining is also required in every subsequent license renewal cycle.

#AA3000 - Using Student Growth Data in Professional Evaluations
Saturday, February 21, 2026; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
This virtual one-day training focuses on the use of assessment and measurement models in determining student growth attributable to individual educators. Evaluators will meet the retraining requirement in the area of Student Growth. AA3000 must be aired with AA1801 to fulfill ISBE's retraining requirement
