For the past 30 years, we at Apollinaire Theatre have enjoyed sharing and telling stories, and now, to celebrate our 30th anniversary, we're asking you to share yours.

We’ve created thirty prompts from thirty of our past shows, which we hope can inspire you to share one of your own stories.

A handful of your tales will become the jumping-off point for brand-new short plays in our 48-Hour Festival in September.
Please skim over the next thirty prompts and choose one (or more if you're feeling ambitious!) that inspire a real life story of your own.

We will creatively adapt a selection of these stories into short scenes. You keep your story; we’ll credit you by your name if you wish to share it or by "anonymous" if not. That's up to you. We expect a lot of responses, so we can’t use everything (even the gems). Whether your story gets picked or not, thank you for being part of our first thirty years—and for sticking with us into the next thirty. By submitting, you give Apollinaire Theatre permission to adapt your anecdote for our 48-Hour Festival which will culminate in an outdoor performance on Saturday, September 20th, and to share brief excerpts for promotion.
