FOSTER AGREEMENT: (please note that ADOPTERS will be asked to sign a different agreement page when finalizing the adoption process By signing below I agree to abide by the following rules and responsibilities of NTFFF as a foster parent. I will provide loving attention, socialization and proper care for my foster pet. I will notify NTFFF immediately if my foster pet is lost or stolen. Fosters are to stay indoors. I will contact NTFFF immediately at any signs of distress, injury or illness in my fostered pet. I will not take the cat to a veterinarian for medical treatment without first contacting NTFFF and getting approval to take the cat to one of The No Kill Project's veterinarians. NTFFF is responsible for the medical care of a fostered animal; however NTFFF is not responsible for medical bills incurred if I take the cat to a veterinarian of my choice.

Iunderstand that I am providing temporary shelter and my foster animal must be adopted out only with NTFFF knowledge and through The NTFFF adoption procedures. A representative may visit my home during the time I am fostering an animal. I understand that NTFFF has the right to remove any fostered animal from a home. NTFFF will always take the animal back at any time for any reason if the foster situation does not work out.

I understand that NTFFF will not be liable for any injury or damage to persons or property caused by a foster animal in my care and I agree to indemnify and hold NTFFF harmless from any such injury or damage. I understand that the history of most rescued animals is unknown and while NTFFF has taken great extents to properly vet the foster pet, sometimes unknown medical conditions may arise. NTFFF will not be held responsible for any inadvertent exposure of foster families or their own animals to unknown diseases or other medical conditions. I knowingly accept this risk on behalf of myself and my own animals.

Please note: If foster parent decides to adopt fostered animal, we ask for an adoption fee to cover part of the cost of veterinary care. The adoption process is a different one from the fostering one. All adoptions must be processed and approved by our adoption team. Foster parents are not always automatically approved to adopt. Foster-to-adopt situations fall under the guidelines of the foster process until adoption is complete.
