Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Application Form

This form is for students applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for one or more units in their course. RPL recognises skills and knowledge gained through work, previous study, or informal learning.

Before you begin, please read the Candidate RPL Information Guide available on the ACBI website. See also the RPL Policy on the website or speak to an assessor. Complete a self-assessment if unsure of your likely eligibility. Prepare your CV and evidence documents.

Ensure you complete all sections. Provide detailed information about your experience and attach relevant evidence. Incomplete applications may delay processing.
An assessor will review your application. You may be invited to a planning interview or asked to complete further assessment tasks. You will receive written feedback and have the right to appeal the outcome if dissatisfied.

Units Requested for RPL

If you are applying for RPL for specific units of competency list each unit you are applying for by entering the unit code and name as it appears on the ACBI website for the relevant course. This form allows you to apply for RPL for up to eight (8) units of study. If you require more, please contact admissions@acbi.edu.au to discuss.

Sign and submit your request. 

The approval of your request is subject to the following of ACBI's Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and Procedure available on the ACBI website.

Your application will be reviewed within ten (10) working days from the day it is submitted unless additional evidence is required, in which case the assessing officer will contact you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us by emailing admissions@acbi.edu.au.
