• United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County (UWDPC) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2028 (2-year) funding cycle from local nonprofit organizations

• Application Deadline: Thursday, January 8, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. (No late proposals accepted.)

Funding Overview
• UWDPC invests in high-performing programs that align with UWDPC's Funding Priorities and Areas of Impact
• All UWDPC funds are unrestricted and may cover programmatic, project, or operational costs.
• Funding decisions are based on measurable impact on desired Outcomes within the two priority areas.

Allocation & Reporting
• Two-year funding: No reapplication required during the cycle.
• Year 1 funding decisions announced March 2026; funding begins April 2026.
• Year 2 funding contingent upon:
      o Demonstrated achievement of proposed outcomes.
      o Submission of outcome report in January 2027.
      o Available campaign revenue.

Eligibility & Compliance
• UWDPC may withhold or discontinue funding for agencies with management, fiscal, or reporting issues.
