    Deadline for Nominations is September 30, 2025.

    We welcome nominations for any Bow Valley business! However, please note that in order to receive an award, winners must be members in good standing with the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce (BVCC) before the award is presented.

    The Selection Committee reviews all nominations but gives priority to BVCC members when making their final decisions.

    To nominate a business for more than one award, please complete a separate nomination form for each category.

    A nomination committee will review all submissions and we will announce the nominations by late October.   

    Nominees only requires ONE nomination to be considered for an award category. 

    Nominations will be evaluated by a panel of community leaders, and recipients will be determined by the QUALITY of the nomination, not the quantity. 

    Nominee must not have been Bow Valley Chamber Business Excellence Award winner in the award category they are nominated for in the past 3 years (includes 2021, 2022, 2023)

    Nominator does not need to a be Chamber member to nominate.

    There is no cost to nominate a business or for a business to receive a nomination.

    All nominations received will be validated.

  • 2025 Award Categories

    Community Impact Award

    This award recognizes a Bow Valley business that has demonstrated outstanding commitment and involvement in its support of arts and culture, amateur sports, education, and volunteer groups within the Bow Valley. Their efforts strengthen the social fabric of the region and reflect a values-driven approach to business.

    Some questions to consider while considering a business for this award may be: Have they shown a commitment to the community outside of normal business practices?
    Have they shown a long term design to build a diverse, inclusive and balanced community? Have they displayed a clear commitment to social responsibility and
    demonstrated community leadership?

    Sustainability in Action Award

    This award recognizes a business leading the way in sustainability practices that benefit people, the planet, and the local economy. From environmental stewardship to social responsibility, the recipient demonstrates a holistic approach to doing business. Their innovative efforts are helping to create a more resilient and vibrant Bow Valley.

    Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award

    The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award recognizes a business or non-profit actively creating safe, welcoming spaces for all. The recipient is intentional in their use of inclusive language and practices and embraces the value of working with marginalized or underrepresented groups. They are committed to building equitable workplaces and meaningful community relationships.

    Young Entrepreneur of The Year

    This award honours an exceptional entrepreneur aged 18–30 in any field who is building a business with passion, perseverance, and creativity. They’ve shown resilience in overcoming challenges and are constantly learning and growing. Their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit are helping shape the future of business in the Bow Valley.

    New Business of The Year

    This award honours a business that began operations between January 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. Despite being new, the business has already made a meaningful impact and shows strong potential for growth. It represents a fresh, vibrant addition to the Bow Valley business landscape and is helping shape the future of our local economy.

    Bow Valley Champion of Arts & Culture

    This award celebrates a business or organization that has made a lasting impact on the arts and cultural scene in the Bow Valley. Through active involvement, sponsorship, or creative leadership, the recipient helps bring art, music, performance, and cultural expression to life in our communities. Their contributions enrich our region’s identity and vibrancy.

    Non-Profit of the Year (NEW!)

    This award honours a non-profit organization delivering outstanding service, innovation, and impact in the Bow Valley. The recipient demonstrates effective leadership, a clear mission, and a strong connection to community needs. Their work improves lives and strengthens the social fabric of the region.

    Women in Business Award (NEW!)

    This award recognizes a business owner or entrepreneur who identifies as a woman and has made a significant impact through leadership, innovation, and meaningful community connection. She embodies the values of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and local impact. As a role model and changemaker, she is paving the way for future generations of women in the Bow Valley.
