As of January 15, 2026, residence cards issued by the United States of America (“Green Cards”) will be considered valid and sufficient to authorize and facilitate entry into the national territory of foreign citizens of the PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, and the REPUBLIC OF INDIA, under the categories of “Tourist” and “Businessperson” without the need for a consular visa.

To apply for a visa at the Consulate General of Argentina, the applicant must be able to physically visit our office and must therefore be in one of the following states at the time of application: Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Hawaii, Pacific Islands.
Visa applications must be completed at least 40 days before the planned date of travel and no more than 89 days before.
Applications are considered formally completed once the mandatory interview takes place.
Applications submitted outside this time frame may not be considered.
It is your responsibility to check each of the next items. If your application is incomplete, you will not get an appointment.
If there are many people applying for the visa, “each” visa application must have a copy of all the visa requirements.
Walk-ins are strictly prohibited. Do not compromise the staff of the diplomatic mission.
