Application Instructions
The eligible applicant must:
- Be a full-time senior student at an accredited 4-year high school graduating in the spring of 2026, in good standing.
- Have ACCEPTED admission to an accredited 4 year college or university with plans for a degree in the Visual Arts for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Embody GLENN W. HOFFMAN and who he was as a CREATIVE SPIRIT.
- Understand that, while the scholarship is intended as a 4 year award, each year after the initial award is subject to successful renewal. Renewal is subject to continued eligibility, which means timely re-application and maintenance of good academic standing per your school's standards, approval by the Scholarship Committee, and the Organization’s continued maintenance of the scholarship program.
Applicant must complete and submit the following, for RECEIPT by Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 noon ET:
- An official copy of your high school transcript, including grades through the last reporting period.
- Responses to our committee’s questions/requests.
- A copy of your Admission Letter from an accredited 4 year college or university for a degree in the Visual Arts.(If unavailable by April 13, it must be provided before scholarship can be awarded.)
- A copy of your ACCEPTANCE to the above educational institution.(If unavailable by April 13, it must be provided before scholarship can be awarded.)
The finished application must be SUBMITTED at the following address by Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 noon ET: https://thruglennslens.org/pages/application
THE DECISION WILL BE MADE BY Friday, May 15, 2026 at 12:00 noon ET
OUR WINNER WILL BE NOTIFIED BY Friday, May 29, 2026 at 12:00 noon ET.
Only the first 1,000 applications will be elligible for consideration.
Application Review Process:
The Scholarship Committee will consider multiple factors, including:
- The creativity, clarity, and successful communication of the intended point(s) of the applicant’s response(s) to our questions.
- Completion of this application; all signatures must be obtained and submitted by the applicant.

We expect all applicants to know who GLENN was and what this
scholarship stands for and have provided ample means to do so.
Our winners must exemplify their kindred creative spirit, a love of communication through the VISUAL ARTS and a zest for life.
