To ensure a peaceful and spiritually uplifting Itikaaf, all participants must agree to the following rules:
Eligibility
- Participants must be Muslim and of sound mind.
- Boys under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian.
Registration
- All participants must register in advance.
- Limited spaces available; places will be allocated on a first-come basis.
Conduct & Behaviour
- Maintain silence and focus on worship, Qur’an, and Dhikr.
- Avoid unnecessary talking, mobile phone use, or disturbing others.
- Respect Masjid property and other participants at all times.
Prayers & Programs
- All five daily prayers and Jama’ah must be attended.
- Participants can join any sessions/classes or they are free to engage in their own spritualilty
Cleanliness
- Keep your sleeping area tidy.
- No littering inside or outside the Masjid.
- Toilets and wudhu areas must be kept clean for the next person.
Food & Drinks
- Meals will be provided at set times.
- Participant are welcome to have food delivered to the masjid.
Prohibited Actions
- Loud conversations, playing games, or wasting time.
- Leaving the Masjid without informing the organisers.
- Bringing in unauthorised visitors.
Health & Safety
- Participants must declare any medical conditions on registration.
- Any emergencies must be reported to organisers immediately.
Departure
- Itikaaf ends after Isha on the following day unless otherwise stated.
- All personal belongings must be taken when leaving.
Declaration
I confirm that I have read and agree to abide by the above rules during the Masjid Itikaaf. If registering on behalf of a child (!4-17 year old), I give permission for them to attend the Itikaaf programme.
