WVEF Grants-to-Teachers Program

Our Purpose

The West Valley Education Foundation supports programs and projects that enrich student learning and enhance educational opportunities beyond what is available through regular district funding.

Teachers are invited to apply for funding for innovative or needs-based projects that support student learning and align with district curriculum.

Please complete and submit the details below to have your application considered for a grant award. If you have any questions, please contact the West Valley Education Foundation at teachergrants@westvalleyfoundation.org.

Grant Guidelines

• Maximium Single Grant Award: $750
• Total Grants Funding Available: $7,500
• School Year: 2026 - 2027

Grant funds May Not be used for:

• Field trips or transportation
• Food or refreshments
• Salaries, stipends, or substitue teacher costs
• Primary curriculium

Additional Guidelines:

• Applications are evaluated on a first-come first-served basis and should be submitted no later than 30 days before the program start date.
• The West Valley Education Foundation reserves the right to limit the dollar amount to any one program depending on its annual budget.
• The application must include the name of your school/building administrator
• Funds will be released once the post grant follow-up is submitted
• Please provide as much information to each question as possible

Within 30 days of the completion of your project please share email feedback to teachergrants@westvalleyfoundation.org for the questions below.

1. How was your grant used and how did it impact your students?

2. Approximately how many students benefited?

3. Would you recommend funding a similar project in the future? (Yes/No/Maybe)

4. Share your success! Please provide 1-3 photos of the project in action whenever appropriate and permitted. 

Your feedback and photos help the West Valley Education Foundation demonstrate the impact of these grants and help us continue supporting teachers and students in the future. 

By submitting this application, I understand that grant funds must be used for the approved project and in accordance with the West Valley Education Foundation guidelines. 

If awarded a grant, I also agree to provide a brief follow-up after the project is completed describing how the grant benefited students. Funds will be release after the post grant follow up is submitted. Photos are encouraged whenever appropriate and permitted.
