The Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology (IDSOG) is pleased to again offer attendance travel awards for eligible and interested trainees to attend the IDSOG Annual Meeting, which will be held July 16–18, 2026, at the Abbey Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI.
Eligible trainees include current medical students, graduate students, postgraduate trainees, residents, fellows, and junior faculty (within 3 years of completion of training) with an interest and focus on the discipline of reproductive infectious diseases (RID) who have not previously been awarded the travel award. Travel Award funds can be used to help offset the costs of trainee attendance and participation at the upcoming meeting.
As a travel award recipient, you will be reimbursed up to $1,000 for travel expenses incurred during the meeting, including airfare, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations for up to 3 nights. This funding is provided with the expectation that you will attend the entire duration of all scientific sessions. In addition, recipients are required to attend the Trainee Travel Award Reception/Program on July 15th between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The meeting format provides ample time for networking and leisure activities in the afternoons.
Preference will be given to those who submit an Abstract or “Stump the Professor” Case to the 2026 Annual Meeting.
