Proposed Trash Can Locations
Please indicate where you would like to place trash cans if your application is approved. Provide the exact address of your proposed locations, or the cross streets if placing at an intersection. Intersection placements should also include details about which corner you intend for installation (e.g., "northeast corner," "beside Sample Business," etc.) Provide as exact details as possible for each location.

Note the following requirements for proper placement:
- Cans cannot obstruct right of ways for traffic or pedestrians.
- Cans must have four (4) feet of clearance on all sides to meet ADA guidelines.
- A concrete sidewalk or pad must be available for installation.
- The can must be installed in an area freely accessible to the public.

Maintenance of your cans includes emptying cans when they are full, or sooner if deemed necessary, and properly disposing of the waste. Adopters must provide/manage own replacement trash bags. Maintenance also includes picking up litter surrounding any cans.Memphis City Beautiful/City of Memphis has the right to remove any can if there are reports or concerns for lack of maintenance.Stolen cans should be reported the Memphis Police Department and Memphis City Beautiful. Damaged cans should be reported to Memphis City Beautiful.Unless lost, stolen, or unkempt, all cans will remain in place indefinitely with the expectation that your organization will maintain them.Adopters must notify Memphis City Beautiful in writing of any changes including group or contact information, adopter activities or any special requests.By submitting this application, I agree that all information is true and correct.
