Laundry Service Disclosures
1. Service Overview
Mission Accomplished provides wash, dry, and fold laundry services for individuals and families, including postpartum support through The Gentle Cycle program. Services include pickup and delivery within 24–48 hours, with all laundry supplies provided by Mission Accomplished.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Laundry Preparation: All items must be placed in the provided laundry bags (or securely packaged if prior arrangements were made).
Item Accuracy: Customer is responsible for ensuring that no non-laundry items (e.g., cash, electronics, keys, sharp objects) are included in the laundry.
Care Instructions: If specific care instructions are needed (e.g., delicate cycles, hypoallergenic detergent), these must be indicated on the service request form.
3. Liability & Limitations
Mission Accomplished exercises reasonable care in handling your laundry; however, we are not responsible for:
-Normal wear and tear (including fading, shrinkage, or stretching)
-Color bleeding or damage caused by defective fabric or care labels
-Lost or damaged items if laundry was not properly bagged or secured by the customer
-Maximum liability for any single item shall not exceed $25 or the cost of service for that load, whichever is lower.
4. Pick-Up & Delivery
Laundry will be picked up and delivered to the address provided. If no one is available during delivery, laundry will be left at a designated secure location (as instructed by the customer) at the customer’s risk.
Additional fees apply for addresses outside Austin/Travis County.
5. Payment & Fees
This is a fee-based service. At the time of your request, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit or debit card to secure your booking. Additional charges may apply for special handling, additional loads, or out-of-area delivery.
6. The Gentle Cycle Program (Special Notes)
Designed for families and new mothers during the postpartum period, offering extra care for baby clothing and delicate items. Customers requesting this program acknowledge that this is a support service, not a medical or therapeutic program.
7. Safety & Health Compliance
Mission Accomplished follows health and sanitation standards for all laundry. We will not accept laundry contaminated with bodily fluids, hazardous substances, or pests (e.g., bed bugs, lice). Such items will be returned unwashed and the service may be refused.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before pickup. Refunds will not be issued once the service has begun. If service is canceled due to violation of these terms (e.g., hazardous items), the client remains responsible for the minimum service fee.
9. Agreement
By submitting this form and using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
