This application is intended as a means to match the right cat or kitten with the right home. The more detail you provide, the better.Â
An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is a companion animal that provides comfort, stability, and companionship to individuals experiencing emotional, mental health, or developmental challenges. Unlike service animals, ESAs do not need specialized trainingâtheir primary role is to offer unconditional love, reduce feelings of loneliness, and create a sense of safety and calm.
We do not charge an adoption fee, but gracioulsy request a donation within your means, to offset the cost of veterinary and foster care, to help us continue to help more kittens and cats.
đ¸ How ESAs Can Help
- Reduce stress and anxiety through soothing presence, touch, and routine.
- Improve mood by offering companionship that lessens feelings of isolation.
- Provide comfort in daily life by encouraging structure, responsibility, and nurturing.
- Strengthen coping skills during times of grief, trauma, or major life changes.
đ Examples of Support for Disabled Children & Adults
- Autistic child: An ESA kitten can help ease meltdowns by offering calming sensory input (soft fur, rhythmic purring) and companionship when social interactions are difficult.
- Child with ADHD: Caring for an ESA helps build daily routines, improve focus, and provide non-judgmental companionship that supports emotional regulation.Â
- Adult with PTSD or anxiety: A Persian catâs steady presence can reduce panic symptoms, offer grounding through touch, and bring a sense of safety in stressful moments.
- Elderly person with dementia: An ESA provides comfort, reduces agitation, and offers gentle companionship that can spark joy and decrease loneliness in care facilities.
-Child with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance): An ESA Persian cat can provide a safe outlet for big emotions by offering comfort without placing social demands on the child. The child may find emotional regulation through firm or âsqueezyâ cuddling of their ESA, creating a healthy sense of control and hierarchy over the animal while still experiencing unconditional affection. This helps reduce overwhelm, restore calm, and support resilience in daily life.

đž Caring for a Persian Cat
Persian cats are a truly special breed, but they also come with unique care needs. Because of their long coats, sensitive digestion, and delicate health, Persians generally cost more to maintain than many other cats.
They require:
Premium, grain-free food to support healthy digestion and reduce the risk of allergies or stomach upset.
Regular grooming and coat care to prevent matting and keep their fur beautiful and comfortable.
Consistent veterinary care to monitor their overall health, especially eyes, breathing, and skin.
While the love and comfort they provide are priceless, itâs important to understand that Persians do best in homes prepared to invest in their ongoing care. This ensures they remain happy, healthy, and able to provide emotional support for many years.
