  • For the first time in 40 years, the JCC Maccabi Games® & Access are coming home to Toronto. From August 2-7, 2026, we need Jewish families like yours to make this an unforgettable experience. 

    The Host Family experience is integral to the JCC Maccabi Games® experience for each visiting athlete. It is an opportunity for local Jewish families to open their homes and hearts by welcoming at least two visiting athletes with next-level comfort, care, and support while in Toronto.

  • ABOUT YOUR HOME

  • Host famlies are required to host a minimum of two (2) visiting athletes.

    Each visiting athlete must have their own bed, sofa bed, cot, or air mattress to sleep on. Athletes may share a room but must each have their own sleeping space.

    Athletes cannot switch homes, or stay in hotels with parents, delegation heads, or coaches.

  • Sometimes, depending on travel arrangements, visting athletes may arrive a few days earlier or depart a few days later than the Toronto 2026 JCC Maccabi Games scheduled dates.

  • DAILY MEALS

  • Host families are asked to provide visiting athletes with the following:

    • dinner on day of arrival

    • daily breakfast

    • evening snacks

    • dinner on Host Family Night

    All other meals and snacks will be provided by JCC throughout the day. All food provided by JCC is kosher and nut-aware.

  • TRANSPORTATION

  • Host families are responsible for picking up and dropping off visiting athletes at the Schwartz-Reisman Centre on arrival and departure days.

    Host families are also responsible for morning drop-off and evening pick-up, Monday through Thursday. The JCC will provide daytime transportation between events and venues.

    • If selected as a Host Family, I will be required to host a minimum of two (2) visiting athletes
    • If selected as a Host Family, I will be required to provide each athlete must have their own sleeping space – bed, sofa bed, cot, or air mattress.
    • if selected as a Host Family, I will be required to provide daily breakfast, evening snacks, and dinner meals on arrival day and Host Family Night.
    • If selected as a Host Family, I will be reqiured to provide each visiting athlete with luandry facilities.
    • If selected as a Host Family, I will be required to complete the online registration process, sugn applicable waivers and/or agreemebts, and attend an orientation session in Spring 2026.

    RegPack is JCC Maccabi Games' mandatory online registration process for ALL participants in the Toronto 2026 JCC Maccabi Games & Access. Every participant must create and complete an account and/or profile with all required information and documents. Incomplete accounts and/or profiles will not be eligible for credentials to the Toronto 2026 JCC Maccabi Games & Access.

    Only participants with credentials will be granted access to JCC Maccabi Games sports and/or social events.
