Set Up an External AHA Class, Products

Order AHA Products

Per AHA Guidelines:

• Each student in an Instructor-Led class will have access to the either the provider manual or eBook before, during, and after the course.
• Each student in a Skills Session (Blended Learning) will complete an online eLearning course prior to participating in the skills session and being certified.

Instructor-Led Class

• You are teaching students in a classroom for several hours.
• There is nothing to complete online prior to the class (exceptions: Precourse Self Assessments for Advanced Life Support classes).
• Per AHA Guidelines, each student will have access to the provider manual or eBook before, during, and after the course. You can add provider manuals or eBooks to this Set Up request.
• You will purchase an eCard for (certify) each student who successfully completes all course requirements (exceptions: Family & Friends CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens).
• You will not purchase eLearning links (not required for classes).

In-Person Skills Session (Blended Learning)

• You are teaching students for a short period of time, typically <1 hour (exception: Advanced Life Support skills session typically <3 hours).
• Per AHA Guidelines, each student will complete the self-guided online eLearning course prior to participating in the skills session and being certified. You can add eLearning links to this Set Up request.
• Provider manuals or eBooks are not required for skills sessions.
• You will purchase an eCard for (certify) each student who successfully completes completes all course requirements.

Virtual Skills Session (Blended Learning)

• Per AHA Guidelines, virtual skills sessions are only available for Heartsaver & BLS (Not Advanced Life Support). Each student must have all required equipment (manikin, AED trainer, pocket mask, valve, etc) with him or her to complete the virtual skills session.
• You are virtually teaching students for a short period of time, typically <1 hour.
• Per AHA Guidelines, each student will complete the self-guided online eLearning course prior to participating in the skills session and being certified. You can add eLearning links to this Set Up request.
• Provider manuals or eBooks are not required for skills sessions.
• You will purchase an eCard for (certify) each student who successfully completes completes all course requirements.

Adult CPR AED is a required part of this certification course. If you are also teaching child and/or infant CPR, select those here.

This eCard satisfies Daycare provider requirements. Both Child and Infant First Aid and CPR AED are all required parts of this certification course. If you are also teaching adult CPR, select that here.

When you teach Heartsaver Total, the only certifications available are standard Heartsaver eCards ($21/each).

To qualify for K12 eCards ($6/each), you must choose "Basic" under "First Aid Course Taught."

PAYMENT TERMS

You or your organization will be sent an invoice for these products.

Unless other arrangements have been set up with your organization:

• Payment is due at time of invoice, and 
• Products will be sent once APHE has received your payment.

Additional Instructors must be aligned with APHE TC to get credit for teaching. Direct your additional instructor to aligncpr.com/align to complete the application and upload instructor certification eCard(s).
