  • Chaperones play a key role in making a trip to the art museum fun, engaging, and safe! Upon booking, you will receive a list of chaperones expectation. Please share these with ALL chaperones/adults prior to your arrival. All chaperones must arrive and check-in at the same time as the group.Chaperone: Student Ratio ECE-Kindergarten 1:51st-12th Grade 1:10UPDATE: Our 1:8 ratio for 1st-5th grade has been updated to 1:10. We will still honor the 1:8 ratio if you feel like your students would benefit from a higher chaperone ratio.

  • Chaperones MUST be 18 or over and should not be students. Chaperones include teachers, staff, parents, and any adult supervising a group of students. Chaperones do not include paraprofessionals.

  • Field Trip Programming

    Our programming varies between Guided Tours, Artmaking Workshops, and Self-Led visits. We recommend self-led visits to be limited to one hour time blocks, with no more than two one-hour time blocks per visit. We can provide self-led activity journals to assist in successful in-gallery engagement. A 30-minute lunch break is required for all visits longer than one hour. Payment for your visit is due two weeks prior (only applicable to programming with pricing/Ticketed Special Exhibition tickets). Selected arrival time determines available programming. We will not make exceptions to these set arrival time and the programming they correspond with.
