Puppy Application Logo
  • Thank you for your interest in our Mini Golden puppies! It’s rare for us to have immediate availability, but on the occasions we do, this application allows us to connect with you right away before reaching out more broadly.

Welcoming a dog into your home is a lifetime commitment. Our puppies are family, and we want to ensure they are placed with families who are ready to make that same commitment. This application helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a companion so we can see if we’re the right breeder for you.

Please note: This application is specifically for our immediately adoptable Mini Goldens. By completing it, you are either applying for a listed puppy who is ready now, or confirming that you are prepared to be contacted if we have another puppy become immediately available in the future.

*** Individual puppy prices can vary but as a general standard, please expect our Mini Goldens to be priced at $5,000 plus the additional CA Sales Tax. Payment of our $500 non-refundable reservation fee is due immediatly following an approved application should you be notified a puppy has become available. This $500 will be applied towards the total purchase amount of your reserved puppy. Payment is due in full on Go-Home Day and must be made in cash. No exceptions.***

  • PLEASE BE ABSOLUTLEY SURE THAT YOU ARE READY TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE RESERVATION PROCESS AT THE TIME YOU SUBMIT THIS APPLICATION AS WE HAVE MULTIPLE FAMILIES WHO ARE READY TO RESERVE THEIR PLACEMENT THAT COULD BE POTENTIALLY WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM US WHILE YOU DECIDE.

Completing this application is the first step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Red Valley Retrievers, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

APPROVAL AND PAYMENT: We will review applications within 24 business  hours of receipt. Applications and deposits are processed in the order they are received. If your application seems like you may be a good fit, we will notify you and get started with the reservation/deposit placing process.

*** WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD A PUPPY UNLESS YOUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED AND YOU HAVE PAID YOUR RESERVATION/DEPOSIT. Time is of the essence for any puppy listed as they are incredibly sought after ***

GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunizations and their rabies vaccination which cannot be done until 3-4 months of age. We offer in-home boarding for your puppy if you are unable to pick up your puppy on the litter's go home day for an added charge of $25 per day starting the date your puppy was origionally scheduled to go home. This additional boarding charge along with their full purchase price will be paid IN FULL in the form of CASH ONLY before your puppy's original go home date unless otherwise agreed upon with us in advance.

CONTRACT: We have a health agreement and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason, it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER: We have a take-back provision in our contract. Any puppy from our home always has a home here, and will never experience the fear and burden of life at a shelter. Taking back an unaltered dog into our home poses a significant risk to our own dogs due to canine STDs and the possibility an unaltered dog could be pregnant. Sadly, many well-intentioned folks don't pay close enough attention and suddenly their barely-adolescent dog is pregnant by multiple studs of unknown heritage. Spay surgery while pregnant is exceedingly risky, and several canine STDs such as brucellosis can be transferred to humans, which poses an unacceptable risk to our family. We encourage spaying and neutering your pets after your vet deems your dog ready at a reasonable age.
