Engineering and Design: Scientific research and application through engineering design, construction and operation of Fire Protection systems and processes.
Industry – Protecting people, property and business: Areas of interest to people in the overall field of Fire Protection – from OEMs and systems designers, through to maintenance and inspection, and through-life management of buildings. This stream is biased to understanding and applying regulations, new technologies and approaches to delivering more reliably and cost-effectively safer buildings and local environments and meeting the challenges of running a business in this arena.
Industry – Contractors in Fire Protection: For business owners and service managers, and technicians, an assembly of need-to-know topics for those running a business and trade crews in the Fire Protection contractor space – installs, refits, maintenance and repairs, and routine servicing. Practical insights for staying on the right side of regulations, technological change, and addressing challenges in managing a work-force in the field.
The Technical Edge: Topics that call upon the current work of the Technical Advisory Committees and Special Interest Groups to advance the Fire Protection industry capability and adaptability – Industry updates, insights, technical guidance, and alerts to emerging issues.
