    Thank you for your interest in joining BIJAN! We are a grassroots network of individuals, faith communities, and other activist groups working to reduce the escalating violence of our immigration system in the current political context. Our volunteers are mostly allies and we are working closely with immigrant communities and immigrant-led organizations. Our work is directly shaped by the voices and experiences of individuals detained by ICE who reach out to invite our accompaniment and who offer powerful advocacy and solidarity to one another.

    Our network is made up of folks who want to offer support to those caught up in the harm of our racist immigration system. If you would like to volunteer with BIJAN, please join us for a new volunteer orientation. At the orientation, you will hear from BIJAN organizers, learn about our work, ground in our shared values, and connect directly with coordinators to fill the most needed volunteer roles.

    This session is meant for folks new to the Network or who are just starting with us, but we welcome volunteers who are already in the work as well. Please complete the registration form below and a coordinator will send a confirmation email with the Zoom link the night before the orientation.

    We do not record the orientations. If you cannot attend one of the dates listed but would still like to attend an orientation, please check this page again in a couple of weeks for future dates. We offer orientations about once per month.

    Gracias por su interés en unirse a BIJAN! Somos una red de comunidades de fe y otros grupos activistas que trabajan para reducir el daño cada vez mayor de nuestro sistema de inmigración en el contexto político actual. Nuestros voluntarios son en su mayoría aliados y trabajan en estrecha colaboración con las comunidades de inmigrantes y organizaciones dirigidas por inmigrantes. Nuestro trabajo está directamente influenciado por las voces y experiencias de personas detenidas por ICE que se acercan para invitarnos a acompañarlas y que ofrecen una poderosa defensa y solidaridad entre sí.
