The Lake Hamilton School District is looking for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family members of students who would like to be a P.A.C.K. (Positive Adults Caring for Kids) Partner.
Who can be a P.A.C.K. Partner?
Any adult, age 21 or older, who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of Lake Hamilton students.
What do P.A.C.K. Partners do?
Our volunteers provide encouragement and extra support across our campuses by:
- Opening car doors in the morning or afternoon
- Assisting with lunch and/or recess duty
- Helping monitor hallways, entrances, parking lots, and playgrounds
- Supporting office staff and teachers with daily tasks
- Reading to students
- Playing on the playground with students
- And more!
Requirements to become a P.A.C.K. Partner:
- Attend orientation and training at the Lake Hamilton Central Office
- Pass all district-required background checks
- Follow district and building-level policies and procedures while maintaining professional conduct at all times
How do I sign up?
The first step in becoming a P.A.C.K. Partner is to fill out the registration form. Once submitted, you'll be contacted with training opportunities. Once you've attend the on-campus training and have cleared the background check, you'll be notified and can begin volunteering in our schools as an official P.A.C.K. Partner.
