Training Requirements
All volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation & Food Safety Course Food Safety Online Course and complete a background check before participating.

Training Topics:
- Food Safety & handling guidelines
- lifting and physical safety (all roles require the ability to lift up to 25lbs)
- Program specific duties and expectations.

Order Ahead Program

Description: The Order Ahead Program allows individuals and families to pre-order food online. Volunteers ensure requests are received, processed, and filled with care.
Order Ahead Platform Lead-Manage the online platform, monitor requests, and coordinate assignments.Intake Volunteer-Receive and confirm printed order from the Order Ahead PlatformPacking Volunteer-Pack food order requests once request are received.
Monthly Food Distribution Program

Description: Held every last Thursday of each month at 4pm to 6pm, this community event distributes food directly to families.
Setup Volunteer- Arrive early to unload, set up tables, tents, etc.Table Volunteer-Manage food tables, assist community members, and keep supplies organized.Breakdown Volunteer- Assist with cleanup, tear down tables, and tents etc.
