• Pie Making Class

    Craving homemade pie for Thanksgiving but want to skip some of the hassle? Join the Health & Wellness Team, led by Chef Amber, for a hands-on pie-making class where participants will create one delicious pie from scratch. Participants will also have the option to add an extra pie and rolls, expertly made by Chef Amber and the Food and Nutrition Team, to their class order—perfect for sharing or saving for later!
  • When: November 18th at 5 PM

    Who: For ages 18 and older. Class will be limited to 10 participants.

    COST: $40 per participant - includes an apple pie with a decorative top, giveaways, recipes, and more!

    Dear Participant,

    Our team at Memorial Hospital's Health & Wellness Kitchen is dedicated to culinary education and is proud to have an outstanding facility that showcases great chefs/instructors and their cuisines. Our classes are intended for your education and enjoyment. All food must be consumed in class and will not be sent home with participants, pending the instructor's preference. Although classes are conducted under the direction and supervision of the Health & Wellness staff, food is prepared by those participating. Your participation is strictly voluntary.

    Because culinary activities can present risks, the Health & Wellness Kitchen depends on you to use your good judgment and reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others. Please follow the directions of the chef or staff member carefully. If you have any questions about your ability to safely follow any instructions you are given, please immediately alert the chef or a staff member.

     By signing this form, you acknowledge, agree, and understand that your participation is voluntary, and you assume the risks associated with the culinary activity in which you will be participating. Such risks may include, but are not limited to, physical injury, foodborne illness, contraction of viruses from other participants, allergic reaction (as the Health & Wellness Kitchen is not allergen-free), or other harm. You, and you alone, are solely responsible for taking proper care to limit your risk of injury or harm. 

    The Health & Wellness Kitchen uses gas cooking equipment. By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I am not wearing portable oxygen.

    You understand that Health & Wellness Kitchen's staff may take photos or videos of the participants in the class for use on Memorial Hospital's website or media platforms. You agree to allow Health & Wellness Kitchen to use your likeness for promotional or educational materials without any compensation.
