Prescription Lens & Frame Agreement

Lenses

• Lenses are guaranteed to match your prescription and be free of defects.
• Most orders arrive in about 2 weeks. We will notify you if there are delays.
• Because lenses are custom-made, refunds are not available once production has started.
• One exchange within 60 days is included if there is a problem. If needed, the doctor will recheck your prescription. Upgrades must be paid for before remaking.
• Lenses with anti-reflective coating have a 1-year warranty against chips or scratches. A $20 shipping fee applies. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse (scratches, pets, accidents, sitting/bending, etc.).

Frames

• White Tag Frames: 1-year warranty for defects or scratches. 
• Green/Red Tag Frames: No warranty.
• Frames are custom-fit to you, so once adjusted and used with lenses, they cannot be refunded or resold.

Using Your Own Frame: 

• Putting new lenses in old frames carries a higher risk of breakage.
• We may allow this if the breakage risk is under 50%.
• If you choose this option, you accept full responsibility if your frame breaks.
• We may decline use if the frame is too high-risk.

Optional Service Fees

To keep pricing transparent and service timely, the following optional charges may apply if these services are requested:

• Frame Restyle – $50
  Covers consultation and adjustments to update the look and fit of an existing frame (measurements, reshaping, or reassembly as needed).
• Patient’s Own Frame (POF) Handling – $29
  Offsets the additional time and care required to inspect, clean, and safely mount lenses into a frame not purchased here (which may be older, worn, or out of warranty).
• Rush Order – $50
  Reflects prioritized lab processing and expedited shipping to meet an accelerated turnaround.
