Campion Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable staff to join our team as Retail Assistants during our busy back-to-school summer holiday season.

Key Responsibilities

- Serving and assisting customers in-store
- Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Entering customer orders into our system
- Assisting with customer enquiries
- General office and warehousing support as required

Requirements

- Must be 15 years or older before employment commences
- Well-presented, with clear and confident communication skills
- Accurate when handling money and processing transactions
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with a wide variety of       customers
-Basic computer literacy (training on our Bookmaster system provided)
-Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (seated positions are not available   at the counter)

Job Title: Warehouse Assistant / Order Picker (Casual – Back to School Period)

Campion Education is also seeking reliable staff to join our warehouse team during the back-to-school season. These roles involve order picking and general warehouse support. Limited customer interaction is required, making this role ideal for applicants who prefer to work behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

- Using walkie stackers to unload truck deliveries if comfortable (forklift licence not required)
- Checking deliveries and processing invoices
- Restocking and cleaning shelves
- Picking customer orders (using slips or scanners)
- Packing orders into bags or boxes
- Handing out completed customer orders
- Participating in stocktake and general warehouse duties

 

Requirements

- Must be 15 years or older before employment commences
- Physically capable of walking, standing, and lifting items throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting or reading instructions (English proficiency required)
- Flexible, cooperative, and able to follow direction from the Manager
- Comfortable working with diverse teams and customers (where applicable)
- Basic computer literacy (training on our system will be provided)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including warm conditions
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential

About Campion Education

Campion Education is a leading educational resource company, with peak operations during the back-to-school season (November – February). Some roles at our Artarmon site may commence in September/October, but most will begin with training in November or December.

Important Information:

- Applicants must be available to work throughout January (no exceptions)
- Shifts range from 4 hours to 7.5 hours, scheduled between 7:00am – 7:00pm depending on role
- Up to 3 Saturdays will be worked during peak season (optional, 10am – 2pm)
- We are closed on all Public Holidays
- The more availability you can offer, the higher your chances of securing a casual role.
