The SWMLS Board of Directors is currently accepting applications for the non-voting position on the Board, designated for a professional with expertise in the mortgage industry.

Started in 2024, this initiative is part of our strategic commitment to enhance our Board's understanding of all facets of the real estate sector, with a particular focus on mortgage and lending dynamics. This role is crucial as we strive to address the complexities of our industry and ensure that our actions benefit all stakeholders involved.

The ideal candidate will provide a wealth of knowledge and perspective in lending practices, capable of providing valuable insights that will help guide our decision-making processes.

Candidate Requirements
- Must be an Affiliate Member of GAAR
- Must be actively engaged as a Lender or in a similar capacity within the Mortgage Industry
- Must possess substantial knowledge of the Mortgage Industry
Expectations
- Serve a one-year term in 2026 on the SWMLS Board of Directors.
- Serve in a non-voting capacity
- Abide by the SWMLS Board Duties & Responsibilities
The SWMLS Board of Directors will vote to choose the non-voting member representing the mortgage industry.
