• WE Fall/Christmas Shop 2026 Consignor Contract

    Take In Fall - Sept. 1 -2 | Pickup Fall Oct 27-29 | Take In Christmas Oct. 1-9 | Open House November 1| Shop Closing Dec 18 | Pickup Christmas Jan 4-6
  • All paperwork needs to be completed prior to bringing items to the Woman’s Exchange for consignment. 

    The parties mutually agree as follows:

    This agreement is made and entered into by and between the Consignor and Woman's Exchange of Memphis (the WE) whereby the Consignor agrees to deliver and the WE agrees to receive on consignment all items which are determined by the WE to be acceptable to be sold during the event dates advertised for the 2026 WE Christmas Shop.

    • New Consignor agrees to pay a $25 consignment fee at the front desk prior to your appointment. Ask for two receipts, as one will be required at check in.  This consignor fee is waived for WE Members is good standing.
    • The Woman’s Exchange is looking for fall items prior to the opening of the Fall/ Christmas Boutique.  We will decorate our shop with a fall tree in September:  We are looking for pumpkins and scarecrows Halloween and Fall decorations including wreaths and garlands, light up ghost, candles, tea towels, crochet and knitted items, Fall take in will be on September 1st and September 2nd – All fall items will be displayed in the Boutique area and the Shop area.  
    • All handcrafted items i.e. ornament, stockings, candles, blankets, tea towels, pottery, sewn, knitted or crochet items, wreaths etc. will be paid at 70% to the Consignor and 30% to the Woman’s Exchange

    • All Vintage Treasures, i.e. Christmas houses, Disney ornaments, keepsake ornaments, dishes, silver, previously owned Christmas decorations, etc., will be paid at 50% to the Consignor and 50% to the Woman’s Exchange. All items considered for consignment must be cleaned, polished and in good condition. Please put these on a separate inventory sheet.

    • The sales split is 70% paid to the consignor for handmade items and 30% retained by the Woman’s Exchange. Vintage Treasurers the sales split is 50% paid to the consignor and 50% to the Woman's Exchange. 
    • Sales of consigned items must be made exclusively through the WE for the duration of the event.  Items may not be removed by consignor during the event.
    • Pricing of consigned items will be by mutual agreement between the Consignor and the WE. The WE has the right to refuse consignment of any item at any time for any reason including style, quality, or condition of the item, such as: chipped, broken, cracked, dirty or damaged.
    • Take in for outdoor and large Christmas items such as garlands and wreaths – September 1st

      ·  Pickup for fall items will be 10/27-10/29.

      ·  Take in for Christmas ‘EVERYTHING ELSE’ – October 1, 2, 5-9  

      The Woman’s Exchange reserves the right to refuse any items we deem not appropriate for our sale. We also will not accept any items valued under $5.00.  We suggest that you bundle items less than $5.00 for example: 2 items $5.00 – No items will be priced at $1.00.

    • Payment for items sold are issued by the 10th of the following month. All vendors are encouraged to opt-in for direct deposit (forms provided).  For those that prefer a check, final checks will be mailed within 30 days after the event closes.
    • Your Consignment Registration Fee will allow you to bring in one dozen of any one themed item,  i.e. ornaments (a dozen snowflake and a dozen candy cane) (once they are sold, we will contact you to replenish that item). 

    • The week of December 14th all Christmas Items will be marked 50% off.    If you do not want your item marked down, pick up will be December 10th and 11th.  During take-in, let the WE rep know if you will be planning on picking up early so they can schedule your pick-up time. Any item not picked up by December 18th will be a donation to the Woman’s Exchange – Thank you!  

    • Consignor is an “independent contractor” and is responsible for all tax payments due on consignor commissions. (Complete the IRS Form W9 using the W9 link provided so we have the information needed to pay you.) The form will be retained confidentially.
    • Consignor agrees to allow the WE full permission to display items in all marketing efforts, including but not limited to:  weofmemphis.org, emails, social media platforms, press releases, tv, radio, and other media sources without restriction.

      Unsold items must be picked up January 4– 7, 10am – 3pm. No appointment is necessary. We will consider any items left after the pick-up dates as donations to the WE.


    DISCLAIMER: The Woman’s Exchange Christmas Shop will take every precaution to safeguard your items and acts only as an agent for the consignor. We will not be held responsible for accidental damage or theft or loss.  Loss includes, but is not limited to, any breakage or damage to items and/or loss due to fraudulent transactions or shoplifting. Insurance is the responsibility of the Consignor.
