Our free college planning workshops and one-on-one assistance for high school juniors begin in spring 2026 and continue until graduation! What We Do:
Help you get into highly selective and selective colleges and find the money to pay for it by taking students through a year long curriculum focused on raising your SAT/ACT score. Did you know that the majority of students who received institutional scholarships submitted a test score?
Teach you how to write excellent personal statements that stand out from the crowd.
Show you how and where to find scholarships.
Provide financial aid advising and financial literacy courses
Help Students stand out for college admissions and scholarship considerations by creating central passion videos and more!
Only residents of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties in California will be considered for this program. However, applicants who attended KIPP Academy schools who reside in San Diego County can also apply. The application period is from September 1st-December 31st. The class of 2027 cohort will only consists of 50 students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a high school senior in the fall of 2026
- Be a high-performing (3.0 GPA or better) low to middle-income youth OR a foster youth with any GPA
- Successful completion of a student and parent interview
- One recommendation from a teacher or counselor (we provide them with a link)

- When you have completed all of the questions, please be sure to upload all required documents (a list of all required documents will be displayed at the end of the application).

What to Expect:
Round 1 consists of completing all sections of the application. Please respond to all of the following questions with complete answers. Once your completed application has been received, we will contact you regarding Round 2, the student and parent/guardian interview. Round 3 is an invitation to take a practice ACT or SAT exam. Students will be notified of their status once all rounds have been completed. We will collect a $100 deposit at orientation in April 2026. This deposit will be returned at the end of the year pending completion of the program.
