Frequency Fest NYC is a Kaleidoscope of Culture, blending genres, styles, and stories into one living mosaic of sound. Each artist adds their own frequency to the spectrum from hip-hop to house, R&B to rock, spoken word to experimental soundscapes.

Our mission is Raising the Vibration: creating an atmosphere where music becomes more than entertainment, it’s healing, it’s connection, and it’s empowerment. By uplifting independent artists and bringing diverse communities together, FFNYC transforms the stage into a shared frequency that resonates far beyond the event.

Built for independent artists, DJs, producers, and performers, FFNYC is where raw talent meets real opportunity. Our mission is to amplify emerging voices while creating a platform that blends live music, visual art, and immersive culture.

Important details:

One official Frequency Fest NYC performance is guaranteed per invited artist.
Showcase slots run an average of 15-20 minutes.
Frequency Fest NYC '26 will take place July 11th & 12th, 2026 in Brooklyn NY. All artists will be notified once selected via email and given the proper materials to promote.

Application Deadline: May 10, 2026

Final Deadline: May 31, 2026

🛑Frequency Fest does not provide artist backline or cover travel and accommodation expenses unless selected as a headliner.

🛑A non-refundable application Fee of $35 is required for submission. This application fee helps cover administrative costs, promotion, and production expenses for Frequency Fest NYC ’26. This fee supports the overall quality and sustainability of the event. All applicants who pay the fee will receive entry to the festival. 

 🛑The application fee is only to confirm serious submissions. Once accepted, there’s no additional cost to perform or promote. THIS IS AN ARTIST EXCHANGE PLATFORM, NOT PAY-TO-PLAY!

 

Hardship Waiver

At Frequency Fest NYC,  we are committed to supporting artists of all backgrounds. Financial barriers should never prevent talented performers from sharing their work. We offer a limited number of hardship waivers.

Frequency Fest NYC Applications are open to:

All music genres, poets, bands, DJ's, comedians 
Artists from around the world
Signed and unsigned artists   

If invited to perform at Frequency Fest NYC, performing members will receive Artist Wristbands. Artist Wristbands grant access to the festival as an official performer and grant you a plus 3.

Within 1 week of submitting the application you will receive a confirmation email from Frequency Fest. If you do not receive notification within 1 week, please follow up by email to ensure your showcase application has been submitted properly and is under consideration.

Budget Description

Frequency Fest NYC ’26 is committed to fair and equitable compensation to all performers. While there is a baseline compensation range aligned with industry standards, exact payment terms are negotiable and will be determined individually with selected artists. Factors such as set length, technical needs, and experience will be considered during negotiations.

Please provide the information below to apply for Frequency Fest NYC 2026. Frequency Fest NYC will review your application, selected artists will be notified of their invitation status within 1 week of submitting or before the deadline of all submissions.

Terms and Conditions
By submitting this application to Frequency Fest NYC, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Agreement to Policies
I have read and agree to the Frequency Fest Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct. I accept the application terms, including eligibility criteria and deadlines.

2. Application Fee
I understand the $35 application fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee selection or reimbursement. This fee covers administrative and promotional costs.

3. Application Review & Selection
Only complete applications will be reviewed. Selection is at the sole discretion of Frequency Fest NYC based on criteria outlined in this application. Feedback is not guaranteed.

4. Fee Waiver Policy
If accepted but my activity does not take place, I may request a waiver of the application fee for the next Frequency Fest NYC event.

5. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
I acknowledge my submission is confidential, but I am responsible for protecting my intellectual property. Sharing online carries piracy risks which I assume unless due to Frequency Fest NYC gross negligence.

6. Representations & Warranties
I confirm all info is accurate, I own rights to my submission, and participation does not violate any laws or agreements. I will not enter agreements conflicting with these warranties.

7. Indemnification
I indemnify and hold harmless Frequency Fest NYC and affiliates from any claims arising from my breach of these Terms.

8. Trademark Use
This application does not grant rights to Frequency Fest NYC trademarks. I agree to comply with their Trademark Guidelines.

9. Use of Likeness
I consent to Frequency Fest NYC’s use of my name, likeness, image, voice, and biography for promotional purposes without further approval or compensation.

10. Data Processing
I consent to Frequency Fest NYC processing my personal data to review my application and communicate with me.

11. Event Modifications & Cancellation
Frequency Fest NYC may modify dates, locations, or cancel/suspend the event or applications. Notifications will be posted on their website. I waive claims related to such changes.

12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by New York & New Jersey laws. Disputes will be resolved in courts in Kings County, NY, or Essex County, NJ.

13. Acknowledgment
I have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and certify the accuracy and rights regarding my submission.
