    She built this city is a charlotte-based nonprofit creating Pathways into the trades for women and marginalized communities. We dismantle barriers in male dominated Industries and prepare the next generation of Builders with skills, confidence and opportunity. Connecting our participants with employers and community partners is key for their success. We'd love to have you a part of our SBTC family!

  • SITE VISITS: Each cohort we partner with companies that have facilities or work sites our participants can tour. Some examples of previous site visits are the Spectrum Center, an electrical design studio, commercial warehouse under construction, heavy machinery headquarters, homes under construction. We are open to all trade experiences that will allow our trade students to explore real world experiences! We will provide PPE.
