For the 26-27 school year, PTO plans to host a few Feed the Gator events for parents and a networking event for grandparent/older guardians that are 2 generations or more from the students that they are raising. Both of these events have been created from parent/teacher feedback that we received last year.

We do not currently have any other PTO events scheduled, but several have been discussed. We welcome your ideas & your help with eents.

PTO will be selling spirit items during Homecoming week (probably mid/late Sept) and selling Ware County Blankets during August & early Sept. The only other fundraisers that we have discussed sor far are potentially concessions at Spring sports and/or Field Day.

Our goal with fundraisers is to raise enough money to provide occassional treats for staff and students and to provide opportunities and resources for parents, but we do not want fundraising to be the only time you see our organization pop up on reminders and social media. We want to work as a team with students, parents, and teachers to help encourage a healthy, happy, successful school.

PTO plans to host more of the "Feed the Gators" informative sessions for parents/guardians. We met at lunch time last year. If you can not make a lunch time meeting, but would like to attend, please suggest another meeting time below.

PTO's first "Feed the Gators" informative sessions for parents/guardians, covered several topics. Admin explained disciplinary and safety practices. One guest talked about healthy food and access to food during the summer months. Another guest discussed summer safety tips for children with electronic devices or those that stay home alone. Parent resources were available as well. What else do you want to know? What areas do you have questions concerning your kids, or how you can help your child succeed? Do you want help with academics? athletics? peer pressure? attitude? health concerns? social media? technology in general? The purpose of these meetings, is to bring resources to parents! We just have to know what you want!

PTO Feed the Gator meetings are a way for the school and local organizations to partner and provide families with resources and services that are available to them, that they may not know about. IF you know of an organization, a non profit, or a resource that could benefit our families, please provide their names or contact info if you have it below. We will reach out to see if they would like to join one of our meetings.

PTO Feed the Gator meetings are free for Parents to attend, but we do provide a meal, so that we can save you one more stop that day! We want these meetings to be an added benefit to your day, not "another obstacle". In order to do that, we would like to find sponsors that are willing to help cover the cost of the meeting. Donations/sponsorships for $50, $75, or $100 make a big difference! If you own a business and want to get involved, or know someone that would, please share the contact info below.

PTO volunteers would love any other feedback that you would like to share. At this time, we do not intend to charge anyone a membership fee, or have regular PTO meetings that parents are expected to attend. We would like to use our email account to just send out updates of projects that we are planning. We will also solicit additional volunteers when needed through the email contact list.
