Contest Description:
Get ready to spook, scare, and shine in the most spectacular way possible! Grow Spring Valley’s Fright Fest Decorating Contest calls all Halloween enthusiasts to turn their homes and businesses into dazzling displays of frightful fun. The scarier, spookier, and more over-the-top, the better! We want everything from skeleton armies to glowing blow molds, creepy crawlies, haunted inflatables, eerie lights, and even a spooky twist on your Christmas decorations. Bonus points for creativity that makes people stop and stare!

Let your imagination run wild — and join the contest to win bragging rights and $100 in gift cards to spend at Spring Valley businesses!

🎃 Contest Rules:
Eligibility:

Open to all residents and businesses of Spring Valley.
Submission Period:

Submit your entries now through October 6
Submit up to 5 photos of your decorated house, yard, windows, or business.
Include a brief description of your display (themes, inspiration, or special features).
Requirements:

Lights and decorations must be visible from the street or storefront.
Displays must be ready by October 10.
Judging & Voting:

Judges’ Choice: Our panel of guest judges (from outside Spring Valley) will begin judging on October 20th, scoring entries on creativity, effort, and Halloween spirit.
Fan Favorite: The community will vote online on Grow Spring Valley’s Facebook page by liking their favorite entries. Voting concludes at 7:00 PM on October 24th.
