  • About the Competition
    Hafiz Al-Quran Competition is a premier annual event that brings together young Muslims from across Australia to celebrate, honour, and strengthen their connection with the Book of Allah (SWT). Hosted by the Hafiz Al-Quran School (HQS) at Gungahlin Mosque, Canberra Muslim Community (CMC), the competition has become a beacon of Qur’anic excellence and unity since its launch in Ramadan 1444 (April 2023).
    Over the years, the competition has witnessed remarkable growth, inspiring hundreds of participants to refine their memorization, Tajweed, and recitation skills, while promoting discipline, patience, and a sense of belonging to the Ummah.

  • Key Dates – 2025

    Round 1 – Preliminary Round:

                    ACT Participants - 7th & 8th October
                    Interstate Participants – 9th October
    Round 2 – National Finals: 10th – 11th October
    Prize Ceremony: 12th October 2025

  •  Reward and Recognitions:

    A great opportunity for participants, their parents and teachers to earn Hasanat and increase their connection with the book of Allah.

    All participants will receive:
    •   participation certificates and
    •   performance report and
    •   recognition certificate

    The top 20 participants in Juz'1 and 2 and top 10 in every other level will get special prize between ($130 - $3000) based on their rank and level.

    The top three in every level will obtain special Trophies.
