Entries are encouraged to utilize the theme
"30 Years of Cheer No Grinch can Steal"
in their design.
Absolutely
no live Santas or Santa costumes
are allowed. We've got that covered!
Entries should be
clearly identified
with the name of their group, business, organization, or affiliation.
Children under 6 years old may not ride outside of any moving vehicle. Adult supervision is required for all children under 18.
NOTHING CAN BE THROWN FROM YOUR PARADE ENTRY! NO CANDY, TRINKETS, COUPONS, ETC. It can be dangerous and leaves a lot of litter in our neighbors' streets and yards.
However, walkers may hand out these items directly to attendees.

I understand that the parade entry (float, vehicle, walking group, etc.) can only enter the parade line up from LINDER or Tyler St., not passing the roundabout and will exit the parade at that same intersection.

I understand that ALL SCHOOL RELATED parade entries (float, vehicle, band, walking group, etc.) can only enter the parade line up from MAIN STREET onto Tyler St., not passing the roundabout and will end at Eastside Elementary for parent pickup.

I understand that the parade entry should arrive to the Tyler St. staging area no earlier than 4 pm and no later than 5:30 pm. (No entries will be allowed to line up before 4 pm without special permission and no entries will be allowed to join the parade after 5:30 pm.)

I understand that the Chamber may cancel the parade due to inclement weather. A "rain date" will NOT be utilized. The Chamber's decision on the weather may not happen until the parade start time unless there is a significant weather event. A rain shower will not cancel the event.
