Late applications will not be accepted. It is imperative that all questions are answered. Any questions left blank or under-responded to will be regarded as an incomplete application.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Read carefully and please do not self-disqualify. We encourage all to apply!
- Must be a resident of Hampton Roads region with a focus on Newport News & Norfolk

- Must show a commitment to affordable housing

- Must be in good standing with Commonwealth of Virginia

- Must provide proof of all required business entity documentation necessary to legally operate within the Commonwealth of Virginia

- Must be willing to commit to at least, 80% of program offering.

- Must provide a copy of the business entity leadership structure and makeup

- Must provide a portfolio of projects and applicant's role on the project

- Must have a development pipeline of 2 projects - atleast one project underway or in planning. Preference for those under site control

- Must be abile to identify a source of equity or balance sheet position for project with grants or investment.

PROGRAM SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Completed application.

- Submit two (2) years of company tax returns or aduited financial statements.

- Submit Articles of Incorporation.

- Submit Business, Professional, and Occupational License (BPOL) from respective city/county.

- Submit Certificate of Authority or Certificate of Fact of Existence/Registration.

- Submit Employer Identification Number Determination Letter.

- Provide company financial statements/tax returns for the past 2-3 years.

- Submit MBE/WBE certification, if applicable.

- Submit brief bio of key company team members.

- Submit a list of key third-party development team members, if applicable.
